Fazio's History

I grew up in the small village of san Angelo di Brolo in Sicily. In 1966 I came to Canada having tried a variety of careers. During my early days in Canada I worked at a succession of places including a butcher shop, bakery and my own pizzeria. All along I wanted to revisit the traditions of my village - pleasant evenings spent in the company of good friends, good food and good wine. With this in mind, in 1979 I opened Fazio's. As the restaurant grew I knew that I wanted my wine cellar to expand. In 1985 this became my passion. Fazio's now boasts a 15,000 bottle wine cellar. Myself along with my children Nicholas, Rosaleen, and Martin welcome you to join us at Fazio's for good food, good wine and good company.
